RiverDIY / PDF tools / Merge PDF

Merge PDF files

Put several PDFs together into one file, in any order. The files are joined inside your browser, so contracts, statements and forms never leave your device.

How it works

Three steps, and your file never leaves this device.

  1. Drop two or more PDFs, or choose them from your device.
  2. Use the arrows to put them in order.
  3. Press Merge PDFs and download one file.

Questions

Good to know

Is there a limit on pages?

No page limit. The free plan merges up to 5 files at a time, up to 50 MB each; Pro has no file limits.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. RiverDIY reads the files with your browser and builds the new PDF in memory. You can switch off Wi-Fi after the page loads and it still works.

Will links and bookmarks survive?

Pages, text, images and links on the pages are kept. The combined file has no outline (bookmarks) yet.

Is RiverDIY really free?

Yes. Every tool is free for one file at a time (five for merging and images to PDF), up to 50 MB a file. RiverDIY Pro (US$19, paid once) adds whole batches, big files and ZIP downloads.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After your first visit, the tools are kept in your browser; on a phone you can add RiverDIY to the home screen.
